Option 1

If you just want to see or export which contacts have linked properties:

  1. Go to Contacts > All Contacts.
  2. Use the Advanced Search filters.
  3. Under Property, choose something like “Has attached property”.
    • (If your version doesn’t show this, you can use filters like “Property Interest” or “Linked Property” depending on your setup.)
  4. Click Search.
  5. You’ll get a list of contacts with attached properties.
  6. Click Export → choose “CSV” or “Excel”.
  7. In the export file, you can then group or count the number of property links per contact.
 
Option 2

If you want an overview:

  • Use Reporting > Property Reports.
  • Choose something like Property Contact Relationships Report (if enabled for your account).
  • This shows each property and the linked contact(s).
  • Export to Excel to total or pivot by contact.

Two ways

You can go to contacts and see what contacts are attached to properties

For example, let's say you want to generate a list of Contacts who own a Property on a certain street. This search requires information from two different modules: Properties and Contacts, and will rely on the correct Contact being attached to the related Property record as the 'Owner'. See Related Records for more info.

You can then take these steps to bring up the required list of Contacts:

  1. Filter your Properties for 'Example Street'
  2. Select all the relevant records using the check box next to each record in the list, or check the checkbox next to 'Property Address' to select all
  3. Click Go to Related in the above tab choices to navigate to related Contacts (owners)
  4. From the 'Navigate to related records' dialog box that pops up, select what type of record you wish to see from the drop down list
  5. Click Navigate

You'll now you have a list of all the Contacts in your database that own Property on Example Street.

 

You can find what properties are attached to contacts:

Head to Properties > All Properties
Select all Properties - using the tick box above the list of properties
Once selected the ‘Grey’ toolbar will appear

Select from the Grey toolbar > Go To Related
Select from the drop down Navigate to: Contacts (Current Owners)
Navigate

Then a list will appear of contacts attached to properties

We need to do this in the reverse again:
Select all Contacts - using the tick box above the list of contacts
Once selected the ‘Grey’ toolbar will appear

Select from the Grey toolbar > Go To Related
Select from the drop down Navigate to: Properties
Navigate

Then a list will appear of contacts attached to properties

Contacts > Filter Contacts

Then select the filter type:

Property Relationship: Select relevant filter options

Search in the bottom right hand corner (Green button)

 

Properties

Properties > Filter Properties

Then select the filter type:

Property Owner: Has Owner

Search in the bottom right hand corner (Green button)
