Claire is smart — really smart. One of her helpful features is the ability to have price conversations with potential buyers when they ask about the price of a property (and you may not have it displayed on REA & Domain). But how Claire responds depends on how your CRM is set up and what information is available.
⚙️ CRM Setup: Quote/Custom Price Field
When we first configure your Claire account, we’ll ask if you’re using a Quote Price, Customer Price, or similar field in your CRM. The exact name of this field can vary depending on which CRM you use, but this is the key price field Claire will use in conversations.
🧠 Price Field Hierarchy – What Claire Uses (and Doesn’t)
Claire follows a clear hierarchy when deciding which price field to use for a response:
| Price Field | Used by Claire? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Search Price | ❌ Never used | Ignored completely |
| Display Price | ✅ Yes | Used only if no Quote/Custom Price is available |
| Quote/Custom Price | ✅ Preferred | This is the main price field Claire looks for |
| Search Range | ❌ Never used | Ignored completely |
🔄 Keeping the Quote Price Up to Date
Important!
If you update the Quote/Custom Price text in your CRM, it won’t automatically send that change to Propic.
To push the update through, you’ll need to trigger a refresh by editing a portal field (like the property description) and saving the listing. Just a small change (e.g. adding a space or word) will do the trick.
This ensures Claire is always using the most current price when responding to buyers.
