1. Add & Push the Property
You add the property in AgentBox and push it to Propic, just like you would when sending to REA or Domain.
The first feed uses the XML process(which is the same as pushing to REA and Domain)
2. First Feed: XML
- The first connection uses the XML feed, which delivers the core property details, enough in it to generate a property on a website
- This is usually very quick, but most CRMs still quote 30 minutes to 4 hours for third-party sites to receive and process it. (In practice it’s usually faster.)
- The XML contains the basic information we need to create a property on the website.
As soon as we receive the XML, we spin up the property and begin creating the ad copy.
- The ad copy takes a little longer because our AI analyses the images and information, then writes the listing text in the Highland format, this takes alot of processing
- This step involves a lot of processing and built-in quality 'guard rail' rules.
3. Second Feed: API
Once the XML is processed, we then call the API—the second connection between AgentBox and Propic.
- The API lets us collect the extra details: documents, rates, fees, custom price fields, etc.
- We only make these API calls after the XML push.
- If those extra details aren’t yet in AgentBox when you push via XML, we can’t fetch them until there’s another XML push to tell us there’s an update.
In short:
- XML push = signal that triggers us to check the API.
- No new XML push = no new API check.
Indexing all this additional information can take a while, especially when there’s a large amount of data—like we saw yesterday when the property went live.
4. Recommended Timing - How do we manage this
To avoid delays:
- Push the property to Propic the day before you launch on REA/Domain.
- This gives time for all the extra data to be indexed and processed.
- You’ll receive the ad copy text shortly after, ready for use in building out your public listing.
